Faster at games and general usage in Windows Vista and eventually Windows 7. The 775Dual-VSTA doesn't support quad core does it? The revised E7500 has hardware virtualization baked in and the older one does not?

Just curious, can I run ANY 1066 FSB CPU in this motherboard? I am currently running an Intel C2D e6600. I am tempted to "move up" to the Intel Core2 Duo E7500 Wolfdale 2.93GHz. This would give me an extra 530 Mhz but I'd lose 1 MB of L2 cache. Is this a worthy upgrade? Actually, would...

I'm interested in hearing more from those of you who are running 2x2GB of RAM. What RAM sticks are you using, what timings, speeds and voltages and are you able to run 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows? I'm considering going from 2x1GB of ram to 2x2GB of RAM but am concerned that the board...

Mine does that too (but not 75 seconds) when I have my USB HP Photosmart 7200 printer plugged in. When I disconnect the printer it boots much more quickly. It's probably some USB device.

I have an AGP card (7800 GS AGP) and Suspend to Ram works here. I'm running Vista Ultimate and had to apply a patch that affected the USB stack to get it to resume from sleep properly.

Suspend to RAM is working fine for me in Windows Vista Ultimate. I had to install the Microsoft hotfix listed several posts above but other than that, I did not have to configure anything. Bios rev 2.6.

According to the post above, DDR 400 should run at 1:1 when paired with a 800 Mhz quad-pumped CPU. However, this doesn't appear to hold true with your setup. With a 1066 Mhz C2D you would need to pair it with 533 Mhz DDR-II. Quad-pumped CPU bus = 1066 / 4 = 266 DDR RAM = 533 / 2 = 266...

Thanks Javvis for the voltages! Did you measure these yourselves or are these values documented somewhere? I'm not sure that your CPU and RAM combo can run at 1:1. Cedar Mill is a dual core Pentium 4, right? NetBurst never seemed to mind running a non-1:1 divider or loose timings. If...
