Cannot access sites except through proxy

Starting a couple of weeks ago, I have not been able to access www.digg.com and www.slickdeals.net. I can now only go to them through a proxy. However, I can access them fine on any other connection/computer. I have a road runner connection. What is the deal?

Video Card stopped working, yet works in other machines

I guess it is low power because other cards will work in the AGP slot that do not take external power. What would make the power suddenly drop so that it does not work anymore?

I have a Dell 4550 with an ATI Radeon 9700 TX. The video stopped working all of a sudden, and just snow comes up on the monitor. I put that same card in another system, and it works fine. I put another card in the Dell 4550, and it works fine. How come this one card stopped working in this...

Snow on Monitor after Registry Restoration

I had to restore the registry on my XP system, and now the video is failing me. I boot up and get the XP loading screen. After it is finished, I only get snow on the monitor. I don't see how it can show the XP loading screen and not anything else if the video drivers are corrupt. Anyways, I...

Internet stops working, yet connection still present

It has gotten a bit better but for reasons that elude me. It will stop working. I will run a port scanner and a packet sniffer just to check things out, and will start working again after that.

I do not think that it the problem. It is a Thinkpad T40p, and AIM still works fine, just nothing else.
