Internet Pipeline Question

Am I to understand that even if we didn't have the PDF on our servers, there's an issue with outside users accessing our .com site? Also...and forgive my ignorance, is there a separate pipe for incoming vs outgoing traffic? What I'm getting at is I'll assume that someone hitting our website is...

our company is in liquidation and we haven't been able to change anything in awhile...And there are users here that will use their phone instead of the work computers for web access LOL...

Internet Pipeline Question

hey guys....we have a T1 line at work that gets throttled if we have more than 10 users or so hitting it. We now have a situation where we'll be posting a page to our site (we host our own) that may be hit relatively hard for a short span of time (2-3 weeks) for information (200 page PDF)...

CPU or Motherboard?

Jojo.....I guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday when Newegg delivers my new MB. I should've just ordered a CPU as well.... I hate giving our local PC shops any business because of their price gouging so I'm REALLY hoping it's the MB...Thanks Guys for trying!!!

Rainy...I don't think it's the RAM. The PC powers off completely within a second of pressing the power button. I guess I could try to see if the power comes on with the CPU and no memory to see if I get any beeps, but I doubt it'll get that far. To recap. PC shut down completely, noticable burn...

My PC shut off unattended yesterday. It did this every 2 weeks (I blamed my 4 yr old) or so but finally bit the bullit. When I try to power up , the fans turn on for a second and then shutdown. I unplug the power, wait 30 seconds...same thing. Also, there was a distinct burning odor when I...

HP 5550v At Target for 24.98

Found one at my local store in ASHLAND VA...it looked like a return item but had the ink cartridges still intact..that alone is about 40-50 bucks and especially valuable since some of their better printers(PCS2210) take the 56 & 57 cartridges! Sorry if this is a repost..

MovieDV Suite Firewire DVD Package $12.99

MovieDV is one of the worst video editing software packages around. It renders (converts) to MPG VERY slowly and doesn't have a very good user interface. BUT, that being said, a 1394 card and cable for under 20 bucks is pretty good. Just get ULead or Pinnacle for the editting part.

DareDevil DVD $9 and change at costco...coupon is good at ANY store (AR/AC)

Just bought the DVD at Target for $10.66 after tax. They have it for 14.99 and accepted the coupon with no problem. I'm not sure why everyone is dissing the movie. While not the greatest, it has some decent action scenes and comic relief. Affleck is actually pretty convincing as Daredevil, Colin...

WARM: TY memorex 100pc CDR at CC for $20 OTD

I've had problems with Memorex TY's. They have this white film label that has not done well in heat. I've had bubbling and oevrall destruction of the CD's themselves....stay with Fuji.

40X CD-RW $20.14 @ OM YMMV

I walked by a pile of clearance "junk" at my local OM in VA (is it really a clearance if regular price is 26.99 and the mark down is 24.99?). I then saw a table of weekly deals(from a single page flyer taped to the table) and lo and behold a stack of 48x burners with smart burn for $19.
