Intel to buy out nVidia for $10B!?!

Personally, I think a merger like this stinks. Intel has shown... through their actions of the past 15 YEARS that they care very little about the graphics market. Even though they are the largest graphics chipset maker, they are in that position only because of crappy embedded graphics...

ECS NFORCE3-A motherboard mini review

Got the same combo at Fry's with the same results. First.. I have Kingston and Corsair PC3200 memory. -------------------------------- This did NOT work: CPU 250 HT x4 Mem 166 cpu voltage +5.1% (1.55v) It passed memtest86, but would freeze in prime95 after 1-5 hours of testing...

three things: size = dont want a humongous crt on the desk dvi input = crt dont have them picture quality= a $100 19" crt isnt going to match a $400 19" LCD on picture quality.

Benq FP937s vs Viewsonic VP192b (or which 12ms 19" LCD)

They are in stock....albeit little stock... right now. I got one from academicsuperstore (ordered three weeks ago at $429 shipped). Going to a site that has online distributer lookup only showed 18 in stock around the company for some online stores. Okay, here is my 3-day take on this...

Free betatest for owners of MVP device

Hello Fry-kun, I have both an MVP and a pvr-350. I do not live in one of those areas, but am interested in beta testing software (do you have specs?), especially if it will let you schedule recording through the MVP. I cant figure out how to contact you , though. Thanks doug

Its even worse than that. So much money was donated during 9/11 that the Red Cross decided that the money would not just go to victims, but to their general fund. So you thought that you were donating to 9/11 victims when, in fact, you were donating to whatever they want to do with the money...
