agreed with konakona, The size of the TV does not matter, its the resolution. 1920/1080 is 1920/1080 no matter how large it is.

Basically I am in now hurry to build now, but could, so what is the consensus on timing currently. My budget is around 800-1000ish. With the i5 coming soonish, new phenom II's getting released, SSD's getting cheaper and better, i7 boards really expensive currently....any thoughts? or does it...

wireless N file transfer

so I have wireless N router and adapters on my laptop and desktop and copyed a shared folder of music and pasted it on the other desktop and the transfer is only going around 500kb/sec. Isnt that really low for wireless N? or do you have to optimize something or use a program??? or is this...

New processor

200 is the absolute max right now, I suppose I could wait then get some more cash and get a better setup, The main thing I want to avoid is while playing, say, Crysis is "man this processor is holding my fps back" I dont care about crazy encoding times etc.

best video card to not bottleneck

so if money was not an issue you would get the 9600xt because the potential fps gain using the 6600gt would be obstructed by the cpu and ram holding it back? or will it just not perform to its full potential (but still much better than the 9600....)
