It's a tradeoff. Gorilla glass doesn't scratch as easily as plastic or polycarbonate used in the SGS3 or One X, but it shatters more easily.

afaik no clevo models have an IPS screen. The best you can get is a 95% gamut one, which is actually pretty good. Doesn't have IPS level viewing angles, but the contrast (and obviously color gamut) is really good.

That's one of the most asinine things I've ever heard. I have no idea how you arrived at "nobody cares about gaming on laptops" from sandy bridge sales. You realize that you can pair a discrete GPU with a sandy bridge processor, right?

That's par for the course though. It costs more money to make seperate chips than to selective disable features on the same chips. Nvidia, AMD and Intel all do this at some point.
