I visited the User Control Panel, per the instructions - I can't find the 'Pictures & Albums' link. This method of adding a photo is waaaaaaay too complicated. I am out of time and patience. So if anyone wants to see the pic - just PM me and I will be happy to send it.

Indeed, it was Amazon - not a reseller. Both came from the Whitestown, Indiana distribution facility. He dug into it a little and the returns go through Lexington, Ky. Not sure if all of the midwest goes through there, or just parts.

A friend ordered a 4790 a couple days ago and got a Core Duo E6558 with a 4790 sticker on it. Called Amazon and they shipped out another one and this one was another fake with the sticker on it, but it was really an E7600. Not sure exactly which warehouse they are shipping from, but they are...

Media RAID servers. Anyone here familiar with them?

I use an external USB 3.0 3TB for the first stage of backup, then everything on that drive gets backed up to another 3TB on a NAS computer that uses FreeNAS. I love it and I can easily keep both back ups synchronized and separate. The NAS system is of course accessible to all 4 of my home...

8 pin and 4 pin MB cpu power connectors

Unable To Enable AHCI

Sounds like a problem similar to when I was switching from IDE mode to AHCI, if I am reading your post correctly. If you can get back to booting to your OS, there are a couple of setting to change in the registry, then shut down and change to AHCI in the bios - reboot and all is well. I have...
