Still using the x800xl and loving it. ATI really smashed one out of the park with this card. There is nothing like it for the $$$. Listen to the Doctor! Take 1 x800xl and call me in the morning. :)

Guys, if you like the way this looks, just leave vsync OFF http://www.denverrsx.com/images/crap.jpg This happens on CRT, LCDs and DLPs. But like refresh rate, some people 'can't see it'. Good for them, bad for those of us with eyes. BTW: It looks really bad on a 50" wide 16x9 HDTV...

Rriiight... Because the officially released drviers work so well to. Yup, they're crashing just like the Beta stuff. None of us would be exploring w/ the Beta drivers if the officially released drivers worked. I like the web camera idea. Know where I can find the link ;)

I wouldn't mind so much if I had a CLUE that Nvidia was even working on this issue. But to now know and just wait to try another rotten Beta driver release... really stinks. This makes things in the wireless industry look professional ;) BTW: I've tried 6 different drivers w/ these 6600 cards...

How exactly can this be a h/w problem? A single card in non-SLI mode supports Vsync correctly... What am I missing? I think tripple buffering is used either way to support Vsync.

Good questions, both. Yes, I have enabled vsync in both the control pannel and inside the HL2 Video setup. I've also tried the other two combinations as well -> no sucess. I've thought about trying the latest ForceTech drivers (71.22 I think), but don't hold out much hope. I've also heard...

Dolby output on A8N
