After all that I decided to just go with a new cpu to prolong my 939's life, rather than spend a ton of money right now. Obviously I could spend about $400 more and get a new mb, cpu, and ram, but I think this should do me a while for the new games coming out, agree? Any other weak spots you...

I used your program, it showed tons of old devices on there, I deleted all but left my mouse and keyboard, which were all that were still attached. It deleted my keyboard anyway and I was screwed since I have been unable to install or reinstall any USB devices. I ended up just running a repair...

So I got a new laptop, an HP Pavillion from Circuit City, said it came with Windows Vista Home Premium. Ok, it did, installed. The only thing resembling Vista software is this "Upgrade anytime" disc, has no key on it or anything, does not appear to be the OS. Am I missing something? Because I am...

does 512mb matter on X1800XT's?

Games such as GRAW won't even let you choose max settings if you don't have 512mb on your card.

Have 2 7900GT's, trade in for single GeForce 8800GTX?

I have a 19" widescreen LCD with a native rez of 1440x900, not a high rez but looks very nice. Another reason I am not benefiting from having SLI. Thanks for the input guys, I am going to put this in my plan.

Have 2 7900GT's, trade in for single GeForce 8800GTX?

With DX10 coming out and the next gen of games like Crysis, I imagine it would be a beneficial upgrade for me to trade in my 2 7900GT's for a single GeForce 8800GTX, correct? I am going to wait a bit, just planning my upgrading now, may do cpu or something else now and save for the videocard...

Windows keeps "finding new hardware" on bootup-dvd drives
