I didn't express myself clearly, I see. The entire point of the post was that from the developer/publisher's perspective the two are functionally equivalent. Pirate it and they notice you with mild annoyance. Protest, petition and boycott, they'll notice you and send out some PR person...

After all, they've already demonstrated their contempt for the platform by foisting these changes on us in the first place. They obviously don't care what this particular subset of their customers wants, so why should we support them? This begs the question: not buy, or pirate out of spite...

Dragon Age Character Creator

Well, it looks to be bioware's first serious RPG since Shadows of Amn, for one. Check out Giantbomb's preview video, if you're curious. It clocks in at around twenty minutes and the commentators can be brain-hurtingly insipid at times but it does a pretty good job of showing off the gameplay...

Advice for dying Northbridge fan?

GBA AC adapter work with DS?

Thanks for your help guys. Actually I found that Nintendo did make an adapter for it, but it was sold only in Japan apparently. I broke down and bought a NiMh battery kit so im good to go.

TF2 >>> Halo 3 MP

The 360 version is restricted to 8v8 with lag problems. The real issue here is that a cable modem's upload cant handle 15 clients. TF2 also NEEDS at least 8 for a fun game. Halo can be played with 3 or 4. The PC version runs perfectly BTW :D

GBA AC adapter work with DS?

I just bought a used GBA (the original non backlit one) but the thing didn't come with an AC adapter. I'm not really looking forward to burning AA batteries if I don't have to, but they dont seem to sell the GBA accessories in B&M stores anymore. Anyone know if I can use a DS AC adapter...
