Because I'm going to Borders instore to get the book. If I have an ISBN handy, it cuts down the time for me to wander around the store looking for the book.

x1950XTX or HD 3850

Does anyone know how well a X1950XTX 512MB compares to a HD 3850? The reason why I ask is because I've seen some x1950XTX 512MB in the FS/FT forum going for $150 even. But, the HD 3850 is about $175 new with less VRAM (256MB). I probably shouldn't be cross shopping the two, but the X1950XTX...

No you can get an associates in Computer Engineering. There are many schools that do this as a "Fast Track" to getting into the field.

Question for those who are current or graduated with a CE as a major. In what job market are you in? And if you have an Associates in CE, do you plan on moving to a BS for the same major or do you plan on moving to something else?

best AGP video card upgrade for 300W P/S athlon emachine

You can probably find a decent X850 Pro AGP card used or refurbished from the FS/FT forum or auction site for less than $50 and still be powerful. You can then probably find a decently priced 500w PSU from most local shops as well. The PSU and Video card add on should cost below $100.
