I had the same problem with the key board and mouse.I had to reinstall with ACPI enabled Works fine now.

Just bought two 1500 MP last week and the L1 werent conected.Wich means they were LOCKED

Just reinstall it agian and push hard.Look at it and make sure it is seated all the way.

Ya know I see all these bad things about this board and I have to wonder.I bought this board from the first batch that newegg had.Not one problem at all.I know of several people that have bought this board without any problems.Just upgraded to a 1500XP and running it at 150 FSB.I use a 300W...

Wierd: MSI KT266A, WinXP, and a missing CD Burner

Did you install easy cd creator? Xp uses easy cd for the media player and will conflict.XP has issues with burners check out the web site.

The most comon problem people have with this board is that they dont seat the ram. Slam it in there good and hard.Also what kind of power supply?
