yeah... definitely not a hot deal... just because newegg has a new piece of hardware in stock doesn't constitute a deal... at least that is my opinion. i still like newegg... they rock.

i would request a separate receipt thru dell's website. it will get to you in 2-3 days. i had a rebate denied when i sent that paper they send you that says not a receipt on it.

tv out... black and white only???

well, i have tried both composite and s-video, plus a few different s-video cables to no avail. i am going to try my girlfriend's tv sometime today as well. the other thing is... there aren't any jumpers (because it is a laptop) and the BIOS doesn't have any settings! the thing that is weird...

yeah... this is what is driving me nuts! it is clearly set to NTSC-M in the settings! i even tried a few PAL settings... no avail! i was also able to choose region, and the same problem when i chose united states! i can only wonder if there is a bug or something... but i can't really find...

the fry's i went to in Palo Alto looked like it had been there a while (looked like it had been built in the 60s-70s), plus it had a western theme! (i guess they all have different themes) the point is, i don't think fry's is expanding very much

TiVo Subscriber Changes (Monthly & Lifetime)

yeah... tivo makes watching tv worthwhile... basically you can watch 1.5 hrs in 1 hour. i got mine for $90 from wal-mart i am afraid mine is going to die plus i have a roommate, so we just split the monthly cost.
