Quick question guys in terms of the desktop cpu can you tell me the pcie lanes for -
Haswell
Broadwell
and the plans for skylake
On z series boards, i want to say 16, 20, & 20 again for skylake.
For me i'm also looking to increase storage speed on 8+ drives so i'm looking to see what is my best...
I was eyeing up that i5 6600t 4c\35 watt @ 2.7 - 3.5 ghz for my upcoming new htpc build, i was hoping for a gt4e igpu to be included but i'm not sure thats gonna happen.
I won't be getting another chip with anything prior to the gt4e, i would have got the broadwell had it not been so expensive.
Well i'm not impressed guys,
65mil colors Really? why?
No dragon logo and on a gaming board?
extended atx in a world where everything is getting smaller? (this will have to change soon i think)
i always liked the red & black but 8 phase vrm i'm not sure but were a lot of boards not 12 phase...
Hmmm ye the DDR4, true i never thought of that, thx buddy.
Looks like we might see a lot of IGPU tests between the BW & the Future SL & KL cpu's interesting to see which is better of course given that all clock speeds are equal DDR4 w/64mb of eDRAM vs more eDRAM (128MB+).
Hi guys, my 1st post here but i had to sign up and ask a question if i may ?
There is clearly a lot of well informed guys here so my thinking is who better to ask so..
Talking from the POV of a desktop cpu for a HTPC and on chip gpu, doesn't it seem strange that the broadwell has GT4e @ 128mb...
