AMD Ramdisk, OBS project, and gaming

Lucid Virtu issues

I do have it enabled in bios, or did when I was testing it out. I had everything installed. And was able to enable it software. Enabling it cause the problems.

Bit of embarrassing question about Lucid Virtu

Thanks. This is what I was looking for: "Virtu doesn't work (ever) with MGPU" I noted in my first post that I can't CF those cards. Thank you. Btw Balla, that is the same MB that I ordered. Do you like it?

need a little help with dual monitor problem

I use 2 monitors and after a few minutes, my 2nd monitor gets a weird effect. It has like a white sideways crown that discolors and cause trails when things move. i have tried switching ports and cables, and its always the same monitor... the monitor is a 28" hanns g. graphics card is...

there are a lot of things, like many games, that dont run well or without decent amounts of effort in ubuntu.

vista activation issue

i have owned pc's since 1983....this is the first time putting a sound card in or putting new memory in required activation. 4 times in 7 months is ridiculous. i had xp on 2 systems for over 4 years and hadn't had to do it once, one had multiple upgrades.... on one alone 2 graphics card, one...

my pc is an oc'd 8400 to 3.9ghz, other online games with more players and more information being sent, dont bog me down.

My system is basically what it says in my sig, just some minor upgrades...in WoW, yes, its totally cpu dependent. upgrading a graphics card on a p4 got me almost nowhere. However, this is not true in AoC...In AoC, this machine pulled 20-25 frames on high settings. So while I agree most mmo's...
