newegg has ocz ssds a 240gb + a 60gb for 299 Ar

Is there a website kinda dedicated to SSD tech and such. Seems like something groundbreaking must be coming through the pipeline retailers just seem to be dropping and dropping and dropping prices on current SSDs.

Cogage True Spirit possibly defective

Hey guys just got a Cogage True Spirit and when i slowly pulled the clear warning label off the bottom it pulled a thin layer of silver off the bottom of the heatsink. Not an even layer but about half way across the heatsink. Has this happened to anyone before?

Have a windows xp media center edition key but not the install disc.

thanks for the input rebate. I did a little digging on the toshiba website and it looks like they don't have a recovery disc creator utility. The disc was simply included with the laptop which is a bummer for me. If i did find another person with a recovery disc any idea if it would have to...

Bought an old laptop at a yard sale loaded with viruses and such. On the bottom is a windows media center edition 2005 activation key. The laptop came with no discs at all what are my options? The only windows xp install disc i have is a professional version. Will that work somehow? Is...

I won't be overclocking at all. This is a computer that simply needs to work and be 100% stable. I'm sure I will here from people saying their overclock is stable but the people using it will not know the difference and keep everything stock gives me a piece of mind that there is a better...

E8500 Stock HSF temps

I read a lot about problems with reported temps on these chips. My usual process when building a comp is to install... PSU, MB, RAM, CPU, Video boot and update bios check cpu temps, run memtest etc. Well completely stock no oc with the stock hsf i'm idling according to the bios at 58C...

LA is proposing a one year ban on new fast food restaurants in poor neighborhoods

the point of this isn't to get people eating healthy at all. They are simply trying to attract businesses besides fast food restaurants. They are simply hoping that by not allowing new land or abandoned buildings to be turned into fast food joints that something else will go in there instead.
