Bought a Geforce 4 Ti 4200, I dont understand the video output connections on the card !

The two connections are for 2 seperate monitors! you can run 2 monitors off teh same computer with Geforeces newest cards. Just use the plug that fits, it doens't matter which one. they are the same, except one as a bult-in adapter. Keep the free removable adaptre though, you might want to...

GPU shootout article w. UT2003

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1647 Is it just me, or do these results look way to good? In some cases gettting more FPS than with the original UT engine (if my memory serves). Of course, the maps+drivers are different yada yada yada. Anyone know which UT2003 engine version...

Card recommendation needed!

I would go with a geforce2 Ti card. MX cards are crap. The visontek GF2 ti 200 is selling for 99$ with a 30$ mail-in rebate at Best Buy. so 69$ well-spent. GF2ti200 gives about same performance as GF4MX420, but for 60$ less.

Weird Gadget: AGP to PCI adapter

Does this mean that I can use my AGP card in a PCI slot??? I'd love to have my old voodoo5AGP in a PCI slot to use for certain games, on a seperate monitor. Anyone read Japanese, or whatever language that is!

GF4 Ti4200 HELP!!!!

goto guru3d.com and try the detonator destroyer to remove all old drivers and stuff (you did the add/remove programs when installing the new card, right?) you should do a re-install the video games, or promt them to to the -firstuse setup. Check the documentation. also what about directX...

WinXP + GF4 + Unreal = sadness. :(

Ya that playing Unreal through UT only works for the single player mode ... or with other people running UT. Go ahead and reinstall, it's a classic game! So much better than UT. :)

Fedup Voodoo5 owner - Need upgrade suggestions

Not sure what kind of a rig you have ... but assuming that you have a machine that was the bomb when the V5 came out ... I would go with a GF4 4200. Might be able to find it for around $170 if you shop around. There's nothing wrong with the radeon ... but I think you'll be happier with the GF...

invalid page fault in module <unknown>

I've been getting this odd error ever since I installed my new PNY GEFORCE TI44000. invalid page fault in module <unknown> sometimes it says module unknown .. sometimes program unknown. weird, eh? Might also be the leaked or new NVIDIA detonator drivers. Anyone else getting odd errors like...

a good 19" flat CRT (4 gaming?)

I swear by my Mitsubishi diamond pro 920. But then again, it's in my bedroom and I tend to cuss when I'm having sex. LOL :D But seriously, it's the BEST monitor I've even seen. Kinda expensive, but you get what yoiu pay for. :)

v28.32 increased 3DMark2001SE 132 points.

My score went down 14 points coming from version 27.70. But that is still up 239 from version 27.42. :) I definately notice clearer text in 2d aps (like, ohhhhhhhh, internet explorer. lol)

New nVidia Detonators - v28.32 Official.......

Please advise! Should I install these? I really don't want to screw up my system 'cause I need it to work. Anyone try re-installing old drivers? Does the properties tab come back? thanks!
