That's just plain ignorance right there and I know you're smarter then that. It was clear from the second post in this thread that anyone who had a belief in God was an insane zealot and ignorant. Now of course that is NOT physical persecution but it is psychological. People who don't believe...
Insane or not real will always be real. The truth will always be the truth. Just because your mind cannot grasp the idea of an ever lasting God does not make it insane or untrue. Mr Hitchens is finding this out right now probably. I can't say that for sure as I don't know his heart and I can't...
Amazing how if an Athiest is fearless and unflinching in his beliefs people hail him as intelligent and a hero but anytime a religious person is fearless and unflinching in their belief they are called inbred and ignorant. Purest example of the modern day world and it's biased towards religious...
Really?
This kid kills his parents brutaly with a freaking hammer and you're all butt hurt over the fact that society should remove him from their midst?
:rolleyes:o_O:rolleyes:
You're right a reasonable person would say that is ok and that we cannot know everything.
However it seems to me that a reasonable person would also have to admit then anything short of a God (if one existed) would have to come from somewhere...
Seriously, there is no remote answer in...
Let me explain a little more.
Just to be clear I don't want anyone to think I am against science or think it is evil. Science is a great thing and it can explain numerous things and it can open our eyes to more possibilities then we could have ever imagined.
All I'm trying to say is that it...
I respect anyone and everyone but it saddens me how the non believers look down upon anyone who has religion as being uneducated and incapable of critical thought. This is absolutely crazy and if followed down the line they have their own belief in a fantasy.
Sure science can explain many...
The first two Dungeon Seige games kicked royal ass in my opinion. I mean I loved them. Honestly though aside from Diablo the best action rpg in my opinion would be Titan Quest and it's expansion, followed by the Dungeon Seige games.
I played the original Diablo for hours on end before I realised I could hold down the shift key while attacking to make my character stand his ground as opposed to running all over the screen like a chicken with his head cut off lol.
That alone made a HUGE difference in my enjoyment of the...
Really? I could have sworn you said in the Star Wars thread that you were going to buy that game. Last I heard the only way you could play it was through Origin.
Guess you'll be passing it up then..
I love them. To be honest Mass Effect 1 and 2 are what I usually consider my favorite video games of all time. That is saying a ton for me. I started with Doom on the PC and Super Street Fighter 2 in the arcades and the SNES, through it all though Mass Effect stands head and shoulders above!
I just picked up the Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum package during the Steam sale op. It still has some PW out there.
Honestly none of them ever seen terribly full but it's still fun. At the least I'd play with ya as I missed NWN2 when it was released so it's still new and fresh to me :)
I had to log in to share my thoughts on this game. I should also admit I have not played it since about a month after it's release so it may have improved a ton.
In my opinion as an mmo the game wasn't that great at all. It wasn't horrible but there is no way I'd fork over 15 bucks a month for...
