BSOD after really complicated weekend

HOT (?) Cheap OEM Software: Photoshop7($60), XP Pro ($50), Lots of others...

Hot swapping printer connecting questions

He is trying to create a parrellel connection using PC-Anywhere or something similar..... for what reason, I'm not sure, but its likely this is his intention. There is no danger in disconnecting/reconnecting parrellel cables while the computers are powered up. I wouldn't worry about it. rob.

USB 2.0 Headaches

Hate to give this as the only answer, but try removing everything EXCEPT the USB 2.0 card. I think you could be partially correct about the IRQ conflict or something. Also, reboot in safe mode, and remove all of the PCI drivers before reinstalling them. Look for any ! that may indicate...

faint scanline on samsung monitor

Seems logical... I'm already running at 120hz, so I don't think thats the problem. But the monitors are RIGHT next to each other, and right now the sony is off and I don't see a scan line. I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks. rob.

something else to consider is that .11g is shaping up the be the NEW "IT" WiFi transport method. Apple is whole-heartedly endorsing it on all of their new systems because of the backwards compatibility for .11b. If you remember the airport was really the first .11b to gain wide-spread success...

(Win XP ONLY) wireless connection to access point only ~30 sec. long

are you using wep? windows will turn on authentication even if you are not using it and if it doesn't get an auth packet back then it will disable the connection. i ran into problems like this. r.
