Here's the way I'm trying to setup my network: DSL-----------Router. . . . . (wireless) . . . . . . Laptop-----------Desktop Is this possible? If so, how? Can the windows XP connection bridging do the job?

wait... unmanaged code is compiled for the cpu that you're running on?... If it's like that wouldn't you havfe to make a version for each set of hardware?

To add to the 3d Modeling programs list, there's also Blender: http://blender.org/cms/Home.2.0.html. This program is under some license that even allows for models created by it to be used in commercial productions.

Half-life definition

In addition to the Half life name, there's also the symbol, which is lambda, the upsidown y. I think that means wavelength in science

Do I actually get anything by installing via 4 in 1 drivers on this system?

Usually it's a good idea to install drivers that come with a motherboard. Microsoft often times includes out of date drivers because they are the only ones that are "XP certificate signed". Also, the manufacturer drivers cd sometimes includes extra software.

.NET programming confusion

I've constantly been seeing Microsoft's promotions for the new .NET stuff they make. What is .NET? Also, in microsoft visual C++2003 and above, how do u use the .NET forms? I know how to program in C++, but i still don't know how to use the new .net features. Can anyone help?

Yeah, That was what i was getting to, but i would like to create a physics engine as real as possible. To do deformations, i'm satisfied with a close approximation, but the part dealing with motion shouldn't be too hard.
