What Do I Do With 46GB's of Hard Drive?

I have 2 western digital 45GB drives! And I made them both their own drives! Meaning only the main partion for each drive! And that seems to work for me! And yes I have already had to format C:\ because I was having problems! But all I did was draged & Droped what files that I wanted to save...

Prob with SoundBlaster Live! XGammer 5.1

Thanks I am was able to get sound out of all 4 speakers now! it was the surround mixer for the sound card! It was set to cd-rom digital instead of standard cd-rom! But I am still unable to play cd's thru Playcenter2! Does anyone have any Idea why that is!

Yes the cable is connected from the cd-rom drive to the sound card! I have even tried a different cable!

Max Size for HD using fat 32

If it won't let you format the drive as one main partion! The you will have to use ez-bios to add some files to masterboot record! Then fdisk the hard drive so that you can access the full capacity of the hard drive! After you get done fdisking the hard drive then you have to format the drive...

Prob with SoundBlaster Live! XGammer 5.1

I am have a problem with XGammer 5.1! The problem is that when I first got the card sound was working fine! Then 1 or 2 days later I lost the sound from 2or3 speakers while trying to Play music CD's thru Playcenter2 or thru WinAmp! I have sound thru windows sounds and games. It's just when I am...

Best sound-card? need one fast...

I own 3 creative labs sound cards! The sound blaster awe64, which is a good sounding card and then I bought Sound Blaster Live! Value and it sounded better than the AWE64, and finally I bought the Sound Blaster Live! XGammer 5.1 sound card and it rocks It sounds a lot better then the other 2...

SB live or Philips

I would say go with SoundBlaster Live! XGammer 5.1 or the platinum 5.1! They are basicaly the same sound card except that you get some extra stuff with the Platinum 5.1 The XGammer costs around $100 and the Platinum Cost around $200! I you are going to be playing a lot of games and watching...

Is this CD-RW defective??? ***Still need some help***

I think that the burner is defective! Or you just have a lot of coasters for your drinks (meaning bad disks)! It does happen!

How do I re-enable a partition to show in my freshly installed windows?

I haven't had any experience with partion magic, But I hear that it should help up out! I usually use fdisk! partion magic won't hurt if that doesn't work then you will have to consider re-doing the whole computer!

See when you partioned c: you made that partion active! so you assumed that d: would still be there! But what happened is you fdisked the whole hard drive! So what you have to do is fdisk the other part of the hard drive with either a logical or extended partion! Then yoou have to go and format...

CDROM HELP!

There you go theirs your answer if it doesn't have: MS, SL, or CS on the back of the cd-ron then it is an old sound card type cdrom drive and you have to get an old sound card that has the IDE Channel on the sound card in order for it to work! At the computer store where I work we have lots of...

wd 30gig hd, when partitioned only 10gig shows up HELP!!!!

Did you copy an old hard drive over to your new hard drive! Because if you did then that is the problem! The old drive was a 10gig and thats how big the partion was and when you copied the old hd to the new if made your 30gig partion into a 10gig partion! All you have to do is re-install Win98...
