pre-built small desktop solution

Anybody know of a vendor that sells a really small desktop solution (prebuilt)? I'm looking for an alternative to the Dell 4600C. Thanks in advance!

high quality splitters for cable

All, Thanks for the help. As foshizzle suggested, I think an amplifier might be the trick. The cable is split two times before it enters my router. I guess the signal strength is too weak by then. I'll see if radio shack has anything. I'm going to try calling the cable company for info...

high quality splitters for cable

About two weeks ago, my cable modem kept dropping its connection. Traced the problem to a bad splitter. My question is - are there high quality splitters I can purchase? Is there a brand anybody can recommend?

Your hardware failures occurred after the first year? I think to be safe, I'll go with the 3 year. I was thinking of gambling on the one year. In my experience with regular PCs, parts that survive the first year usually last more than 3. Still, probably better to go for three and have a some...

boomerang is right. All of them have or are going to 1 year warranties. The reality is *most* drives that survive past the first year survive for all three. By having three year warranties, they have to keep more money in reserve to pay for possible returns. This takes away from R&D...

I'm sorry I wasn't able to pose the question properly. But I found my solution. Take the word "pillow" for example. I wanted to find out all the domains that had this word in it. The whois command limits the number of returns you can get. I went to whois.org, and that helped quite a bit...
