Amazon Dilemma....

Oh my god!!!! I can't believe the incompetence of Amazon workers!!!! I just got off the phone with their customer service (thank god they have an 800 number!!) I explained to the call taker what happened.... their response? "We show that you paid for all the orders and the checks have...

Amazon Dilemma....

I'll try to make this short.... back in April I ordered a number of things from Amazon, a few weeks later I place a 2nd order for few more things, a couple of weeks ago I place a 3rd order - bear in mind, that I'm paying by check, and I haven't sent a check in for any of the orders yet...

Why is a 3.5" drive 4" wide?

Marketing weasels. ;) A 15" CTR monitor has a usable area of like 13.75" A 56K modem is limited to 54K. A 20 GB hard drive actually formats to 18.5 GB. A guy says his "wood" is 6" long, it's really 4.5" at most. :o) ...truth in advertizing, my a$$! :)

Need Some Cool stuff to buy.

This really isn't computer related, welll I guess in *some* way is it, but it is very cool never the less... Leatherman Wave I never leave home without mine! :) Kinda makes me fell like MacGyver! ;)

IBM Deskstar Hard Drives.... fast but unreliable????

I have 2 IBM drives in my primary system, they are 15,000 RPM SCSI, I believe that are of the Deskstart line, anyway they have been reliable for almost a full year now... knock on wood :)

F1 is starting tonight!!!!

<< There is a really good site that does reall time updates to F1 races that has a diagram of the track and points out where events happen! It is pretty cool and I usually have it going while I watch the race. >> Would you care to share that URL? :)
