CPU vs GPU..Bottlenecking?????

I'd overclock both of them a bit....and don't be afraid to push that Kingston Value Ram. I had two 512's in my rig a while ago, and I could get them to ddr436 @ 2.5-3-2-5 timings, all at 2.65v! They could go higher if you relaxed the timings a bit as well. The pci-e version of the 6800gs can...

read the review, he's talking about having 10 ram chips on his 7800gtx, jeez....i've been up for over 40 hours and i was able to catch that!!! BTW, i was joking, maybe my sense of humor isn't up to par right now, lol, I think I'm going to bed.....

Are we getting screwed???

the vf900-cu review on dailytech today has something everyone will want....it's the wave of the future! Instead of the standard 8 ram chips, this guy's has 10! It's true too, cause he was mad about only having 9 in the package! I want one ;)

AGP vid card selection - HELPP please

i know this isn't ATI, but strongly consider the Gainward 7800 GS if it's meant to last for a while. It's really a 7800 GT, 20-pipes and all!!!

Found this Oblivion Tweak(peformance increase)?

Nice tweak! Got me a few fps more. At 1440x900 I'll take whatever I can get :) I can't remember exactly what they're called in game, but turn the "Soft Shadows" off, seemed like a big performance boost, and I don't even notice the difference! (Unless I really look to see the difference...

What's up with 7900GT(X) Availability?

At NCIX right now they are showing 1 eVGA, 6 xfx and 10+ BFG 7900 gt's, didn't check the gtx availability though.

xfx 7900 gtx dissapointing

Hmm, even with hawt new Zalman VF700Cu i can't get my AGP 6600GT 128mb beyond 602/1145 from 500/900 stock...

yeah, you can't really be down about those clocks, that's quite impressive :)

Nvidia 84.20 drivers

yes, they're workin' great on mine!!! sidenote: my 6800gs runs at 53/74c, and those temps are with my vf700! Edit: wrong quote.

FEAR runs smooth, gain a few synthetic points, most importantly, BF2 and COD2 seem to run a little nicer. Very nice drivers.

Upgrading from 9800 Pro to 6800 GS

I did record some benchmarks from before I got my new card. My old MSI rx9800 oc'd to 414/716 got this in 03, 05, and 06 respectively: 6306, 2512, 808 My new BFG 6800 GS unlocked and oc'd to 400/1100 gets: 13375, 5809, 2769 I know you gotta take these kinds of numbers with a grain of...

New nVidia Forceware beta drivers at nZone

just installed the 84.20's, replaced 83.90's. So far these seem very smooth with decent IQ. I'm gonna use them for a while but I think I'll be keeping them. BTW- if you care, I gained 160 in 3dmark05.
