I just got a Biostar TA780G, 2 Western Digital 750Gig GreenPower drives, 1 gig ram, and a 4050E CPU. Nothing else is hooked up to the machine. When I hit the power button, the fans spin for about 1 second and then everything turns off. I have to unplug power cord to "reset" and try again. Same...
I just did an upgrade install from win2k to winXP.
Worked perfectly! almost. Every boot, I get a small popup window.
Error: Instalation Failed
Everything seems to be working though, at least everything I've tried so far.
If I open task manager and watch, when I click OK for that popup...
A couple days ago when I turned my computer on, my dvd-rom now makes a "ka-chunk" sound. Kind of similar to the sound this drive akes when you eject a CD. It does this sometimes just once or twice, or I've had it do it like 30+ times until I hit the reset button.
While it's making this sound...
There's been a posting on Anandtech before about how BB computers work when printing these display tags up. The computer just checks sale price, checks rebate availibility and price and prints the tag. If it's free, it prints a FREE tag.
I figure that the rebate was put into the computer first...
ALL the computers now think it's $99 - $50 rebate. You can only get this deal if your best buy still has the display tag that says $49.99 - $50 rebate = Free. Irving BB took the display tag down after I got one, saying the tag is a mistake.... BB on Central Expressway in Dallas didn't have...
WD is 100000 times better now then they were 5 years ago. Now IBM = WD 5 years ago.
IBM can suck my balls. I've had 2 60GB, and 2 75GB 75gxp's die on me.
Just wanted to confirm that atsai3 is right and the firmware Rally1 linked above doesn't work. You need to actually use a Hex editor and enter "00" Null strings, using an 'o' or '0' in a text editor won't work.
Use a hex editor, overwrite first 5 chraracters with "SP-90" and enter two Null...
I went today and they had 2 of them, got them both. $49.97 on the shelf, no mention of the $20 rebate on the shelf and the rebate didn't print at the register. I'll just use the rebate off the website though.
Nice Deal!
Great Camera! and great price!!
Can we find a place with coupons that carries the camera and pricematch??? I've been searching, no luck yet.
Casio's 1-800 # says that all major electronics stores, including Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, etc. carry their cameras. But none of...
This printer rocks, especially for photos. BUT it's the WORST ink hog I've ever seen in my whole life. If your looking to print highest quality 4x6 using the option which make it so your pictures won't have a white border. You'll get Maybe 8 pictures MAX out of the color cartridge. If you...
I got two of these phones about 6 months ago when OfficeDepo had the model without answering machine for free after rebates.
They suck ass. Makes your voice sound funny, and if your even considering using them around a microwave forget it.
Instant you turn a microwave on, and your standing...
