Hi, I currently have a problem with Norton Antivirus 2004 and certain internet sites such as ebay. Whenever I have auto protection enabled and goes to ebay, my cpu usage goes up to 100%. It stays there for a few mins. My computer becomes super slow and you can't do anything. But when I disabled...
I've seen it before...but i can't find it anymore...
This program tells you the CDR manufacturer and the type of dye that was used to make it. Can someone help me find it? Thanks!
I think the PSU is giving power to the Mobo...cause the PC turns on when i press the power button. Theres power to the CDROM and HD. The power and HD LED also lights up so the PSU is definitely giving power to the Mobo...So i guess somethings wrong with the mobo then...Thanks for the help!
Ok, theres a problem with my dads PC at work. A few days ago, my dad complained that there is a weird scraping noise coming from the PC. Yesterday, my dad brought the PC home and said that the PC wont boot into windows anymore...general protection fault...BSOD!!! When i opened up the case I...
i have the K7NCR18D Pro too. Its pretty nice. Very stable board. And somewhat overclockable too. You can adjust everything except for the multipliers. THe PCI/AGP clock is locked at 33/66 also. For $115, its a great board! No complains.
Yup, tried memory at 160mhz FSB on a xp 1800+ T-bred at 1.60V. Runs windows just fine...but as soon as I do memory benchmarks, the PC reboots and I have to reset the CMOS just to make the PC to boot up. Oh well. Right now the Crucial PC2100 memory is running just fine at 155mhz. I am happy :D
i've used magnetic screwdrivers to build countless PCs and never experienced this problem b4. Its most likely a hardware config problem or something is lose...maybe the memory is not all the way in or the ide cable isn't in all the way....unless he didn't ground himself when building the PC :o
look for the MCP-T processor on the Nforce2 mobos.
MCP-T = 5.1 Soundstorm support
MCP = AC97 sound
Another good way to see if the board supports soundstorm is to look for a SPDIF RCA output or an optical AC3 output.
Microcenter is a very good PC store IMO. Their prices are good...and are even better when theres a sale! Good deals every month!
Just picked up a Logitech MX300 from Microcenter for $16.99
They also had the Retail R9700Pro for $320 and the Retail R9500Pro for $175!!! :D Awesome prices!!!
