forgive me if this is a dumb question, but...

Yeah, that's what I mean... I know there exist cards with slots for both, but it's not immediately clear if you can run both cards simultaneously.

I've not paid attention to a lot of things dealing with PCIe graphics, so forgive the n00bish nature of this question... I was talking to a friend the other day, and he wants to buy a PCIe dev card for work, but he also wants to use his 9700 for gaming. Would it be possible to run an AGP8x card...

Asus A7V880 SATA help

Okay, I'll try to kep this short. Here's the deal. I'm trying to install WinXP on a new WD Raptor, using the A7V800's onboard SATA controller. The BIOS recognizes the drive, but Windows cannot find it when Setup looks for hard drives. I know that you usually have to press F6 to install...

MY KLIPSCH PROMEDIA ULTRA 5.1s ARE HERE!

I've said it before, but... The tweeters on the Klipsches die way too easily, and the sub can't go low enough/hard enough. It's very tight and controlled, though, if you play music/movies it likes. Same with the tweeters. If you play them at lower volumes and/or dont play anything too harsh...

looking for a cheap gaming card

get a fanless 5200 or 9600, and they should be decent enough. im not sure of the exact pricing, though... CBA to look it up.

I did miss the debate, apparently, but I was just going off of the info I found on the Microsoft site. Text The same info is given out not only on Microsoft's site but numerous other sites, based a little Googling i did. Anyway... the point is, I'm gonna use Partition Magic. Thanks...

Formatting an External Hard Drive

It's true when you're using WinXP Setup. I can't find any information about going back later and reformatting a secondary drive to FAT32. In any case, if deathkobra is right, then I'll grab Partition Magic. Been looking for an excuse to get it anyway.

Formatting an External Hard Drive

Getting to a Mac right now would be a pain, but I guess it's an option... Aren't there any utilities that will do it within XP (Partition Magic?) It's a 120GB drive, so that means a whole lot of 32GB partitions. (Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I'm running XP Pro...)
