What's your favorite PC6400 ram in the $200-300 range?

This is my first build. I just want a meduim overclock. 400mhz fsb = 3.6Gig right? I'd read that Buffalo FireStix is a micron D9.. chip. I was about to order that, but newegg is out of stock. I'd read crucial IS micron, but not all micron chips are great? Anyways, kind of t.m.i. at this...

Want ATi recommendation..

Great, thanks guys. I was actually thinking about a $300 eVGA 7800GT. The clock speeds looked close to the 7900GT, but it sounds like there is more to it then that. (pixel shaders, etc..) I can probably go $400+ for the X1900 if it's superior inmore ways than just speed/fps. Does anybody...

Want ATi recommendation..

Hello. I'm going to be bulding soon and was wondering to difference between 1800/1900 and XT/XTX, all 4 cards. They seem to have about the same specs clock speed & mem speed wise.. I have a gigabyte 6600GT, and while it was a big big rfs improvement, the picture never seemed quite as clear as...

Networking a wireless aircard?

I bought a pcmcia to pci adapter from NewEgg and am using a sierra 860 aircard. The EDGE network is giving me 100kbps +/- speeds. Is there anyway I can share this bandwidth with my wifes desktop? We both have unused ethernet ports, but its not as easy as just plugging in a cable right? Thanks...

Daily Freezings & random reboots?!

Hi, My system is a custom mall built, 3-4 years old and will just freeze (cursor and all) about once a day. Sometimes several times in a row. (very frustrating) It's usually when I have 2 instances of my MMO (shadowbane) open, but not always. It will occasionlly reboot for no reason also...

..or do you have to manually set the bios on the first boot? I've changed parts, etc, on PC's... but have never done anything in the bios. Is the EPoX EP-9NPA+ultra any more beginner friendly? I'm just a little worried because I've read some posts about the DFI being hard to get adjusted...

Mobo/memo/cpu recommendation wanted

Hello. I'm wanting to build my 1st PC. One that can handle 2 instances of an MMO (similar to WorldofWarCraft), teamspeak & occasionally some added surfing... 3700+, 3800+ 2x, Opty 165? Epox, MSi, Asus? (Dfi over my head?) 2Gig ram. (not even a guess) priorities are rock-solid stability...
