Password protect your wireless router

u guys have to realize its just a home network, setup wep or wap, as long as u have one, if you see some one on ur drive way with a laptop go beat them... its just a home network.. u guys are way off the topic he need help on setting up the WEP, so best thing to do is read your manual, or...

Logg into router router, and setup WEP ur manual from your router should help you what kind of router anyways? its not all the same for all so, different compaines have different types of software, look at the manual or dl from online.

Baby steps needed to hook up 2 computers

XP = 1 network card only needed 98 = 1 network card only needed buy a router, buy 3 cat53 cables, make sure there good lenght. so they can reach modem --- plugs into ---router === two network cables= == one going to XP other to 98 follow instruction from router manual to set it up..

i have 512mb ram, under my computer properties it shows 504mb, i know this is okay, but i forgot why it displacs that there has to be a reason. can someone inform me on this?
