Dood, I called up Toshiba and Gateway and both said that its the dy you place the order - thats your purchase date - so it will be eligible for the rebate - ireespective of when it will be shipped (as long as its before 31st March - the last day to mail the rebate coupon) So cheer up and enjoy..
