Changing Preview Graphic in MS Word

Thanks. The preview graphic shows up when for instance you select 'file' - 'new' and they show you a list of your templates, then if you select a template, it shows you a small graphic of what the document looks like on the side of the template window. Does that help describe what I mean a...

Changing Preview Graphic in MS Word

Does anyone know how to change the preview graphic in MS Word 2000? I am trying to create templates in word but my newly created templates retain the original preview graphic from my source document. Is there any way to change this. Thanks in advance!

Perl Questions

In order to execute perl scripts on the web, does it require special server software(like coldfusion does) or will it work by simply placing it on the web server? I have no clue about perl which is why i'm asking. Thank you

Renaming Access Tables

Hi, I need to rename some tables in Access 2000, but there does not seem to be a way to do this in Access itself. Does anyone know of a utility or an easy way to rename the tables. Thanks for any help.

Acrobat Wirter/Reader Questions

I've tried to find information on this, but I've had a hard time getting any. Is it possible to convert a .pdf back into word or into some editable format? I know there is the text select tool, but some documents I've opened do not allow me to select any text. Do you know why this happens...

That definitely helps, but it opens up an entirely new window when I click a link, so I have alot of windows open when browsing

IE browsing trouble

Hello, I am using IE 6 currently with Win2k, and it everytime I have more than 1 IE browser wiindow open and I click on one of my bookmarks, it always loads into the 1st IE window that was open and not the window I am currently in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but I get the same results...

Webpage Anchors problem

Sorry, didn't quite know where to put this message, but I'm having a problem getting my anchors to work in IE5, the page works fine in Netscape but just won't work in IE. Anyone ever have this happen before. The code is the same, its a menubar on the left calling a anchor in the main area...

DELL Partition Question

thanks for the info, I'll take a look at the diagnostics and see if its worth keeping. You mean their is info on that partition currently? and how do i see it or do i have to go to the Dell website and enter the service number first. oh well, I guess I'll see first. Thanks again

DELL Partition Question

I've been working with alot of Dell laptops lately and when I go to FDISK the HD, I see a Non-Dos 31MB Partition on them. Anyone know what this partition is for? I doubt it will affect anything, but was just curious as to what its there for. Its a 20GB drive all for the C: so I don't know why...

Help!! Real bad XP problem

Would be helpful if you post some of your hardware specs, like mobo, processor and such. If you're using a VIA board, check your IDE settings. I had similar trouble with my VIA board.
