I put in a spiffy 4-in-1 (or 42-in-1 or whatever they say now) card reader into a spare 3.5" drive bay. It's a cool idea, except that there's that thing where you're supposed to click the icon in the tray to 'safely remove hardware' before yanking your CF card. If I do this, it removes the whole...

Will A7N8X recognize RAID array from A7V333?

Hi. I've been running a simple two IDE (not SATA) drive RAID1 mirror array on my A7V333, using the on-board Promise RAID controller (chip PDC20276). Unfortunately, I just experienced a bad BIOS flash on the 333 board, so I can't access anything at all, can't even attempt another BIOS flash. So...

Which Rheobus is better?

I think mine's a Sunbeam (older model with no graphics screened on) and yeah the LEDs were killer. Their leads are just pushed into little headers and can come right out, so you can stick in whatever LEDs you want. I pushed mine in like someone said and also put a couple layers of masking tape...

For some serious $, there are real good 350W fanless PSU's here That will only cut your PSU fans though ;) As for cutting dust, positive case pressure does work. Dust won't come in the crevices because there's air blowing out of them. That is the whole point of positive pressure - the effects...

Thanks, that sounds like a workable work-around. I'd rather figure what the problem is though, seems like the BIOS is tweaked somehow. Yes, only the two drives in the array, was going to ditch the old drive once I got the data off of it. I figured once the array was acting like one drive I could...

AX7 vs. Zalman 5000?
