Can I stop my CRT from turning off and back on again during fast user switching?

The only thing I can figure is that the welcome screen is set to a different resolution. I don't know though.

PC powers on but no post

Maybe the power supply is failing and isn't pumping out as much juice as it used to? If you have another PSU on hand you could try that. I'm going through similar problems, except mine won't post and just shuts down after about 4 seconds.

I noticed a similar issue on my mom's computer but didn't try to do anything for it. Does every user account have the same screen resolution set?

Random shutdown, now no post: Troubleshooting

The other night while watching some hulu the computer cut out on me. It rebooted fine. I went to sleep. When I woke up the power was off on the computer again, and it won't post. The fans spin then it shuts itself down. No beeping, not sure if I even have an internal speaker hooked up though...

Installer pops up on boot

Where can I find the app log? I have checked msconfig multiple times, no strange entries. Anything remotely questionable is disabled.

Problem FIXED!!! (Help! PC doesn't start...)

Also, this happened to me once. And all that had happened is the cable from the psu to the mobo wasn't pushed in all the way. Make sure it's not something stupid like that.
