Just received an email which starts as follows:

Are you sure it has a 32Mb cache?
Nothing in the FRY's site says so, and searching NewEgg for a "Hitachi Deskstar 1TB" only comes back with a 16Mb version.
What ZIP did you use?
If I use an eastern ZIP (19606), and page 6 shows a crappy DVD/VCR combo
If I use a west coast zip (90210), page 6 shows a 2 way dubbing, DVD to VCR, VCR to DVD!
Apparently it is different by geographic location. :(
Seems like DD-WRT can be loaded, but it can only support the Micro version (BCM5354 chip rev 2 or rev 3 at 240 Mhz) and only has 2 MB of flash Ram. Just FYI
Great Price, just wonder why MS even bothers anymore.
I bought and used MS Streets & Trips 2006, and it was great. But to be honest, I found it too cumbersome (laptop, care power inverter, separate GPS receiver, etc...) in the car and still needed a passenger to operate the laptop and use...
Any idea how much better an E8400 (or an E8200) is versus an E2140 (that can be overclocked to 3.0) ?
I know the E8x00 uses less juice and runs cooler, but performance-wise, might a budget-oriented person like myself be better off picking up an e2140 for about $70 (instead of about coughing...
Tom's hardware shows the non-overclocked E2140 to be comparable to an E4300 (see link here)
Any idea how well this one (overclocked to 3.0) stacks-up (say against the new E8200)?
If the performance difference is not that much, the price of the E2140 makes this a no-brainer.
