Ok, so to give a little backstory, I own a UNICOMP buckling spring keyboard (uses USB), and it has always had problems where it's a bit of a crapshoot whether it gets turned on/recognized at POST. It seems like when you restart, the keyboard doesn't pick up, but when you fully power down, then...

Do you need Vsync with a 120Hz Lcd?

Just curious, why is it that in my case, if I don't enable Vsync games stutter something terrible? Like, if I run WoW without Vsync, I will constantly be in the 100-200 fps range, but the image to my eye looks as if it's at 30fps. It's horrible. Turn vsync on, fps caps at 60, everything is...

Probably not, but 50k is a whole helluva lot better than 350k. From what people have been saying, it's mostly infrastructure, intelligence, and contracting people.

Thanks for the reply Aigomorla. I guess I just had some unrealistic expectations! By the way, to the poster asking me to use linpack, I used the xeon64 test (sorry if this isn't a good one to use, I'm unfamiliar with linpack), and the hottest it got me was 57 degrees. P95 gets me to 60...

The CPU is indeed the only thing in the loop. I think I might change out some of the fittings tomorrow, as I put a one 90 degree and one 45 degree barb in the loop in the process of moving cases. I think I'll switch back to all straight barbs and see how I do. Also, the fans pull air as you...

At the bottom. The case comes with 3 big-ole 180mm fans with radiator mounting brackets, but any sort of radiator would have to be 30mm or thinner to make way for 10.5" cards (my GTX 295 included). So, I took out the fans and replaced them with the radiator and 3 120mm fans. Granted, this...

Ah, ok, sorry. I just saw some people on other forums with high end air coolers idling around 35C and I got suspicious. Thanks for taking the time to respond with an actual answer!

Hey guys, I just moved my rig into a Silverstone Raven Rv02 and changed my reservoir, and I think my temps are a tad too high. At 4Ghz, my i7 920 is using 1.25v core and idles at 40 degrees. P95 test gets it up to 60. I feel like it should be about ten degrees cooler. Am I wrong? Do I need...

How would one go about getting a fillport to that? Dremel one? EDIT: Also, this is the pump/res I'm currently using. That pump just swaps into the new res, right...
