Is my Gigabyte HD7950 broken??

My problem seems to have gone away now luckily. I used to have a nvidia card in this machine and apparently there were plenty of files left from that. So in the end, I just decided to reinstall my computer and there was also a newer AMD driver. And I haven't noticed my screen 'jumping' anymore...

Firebird, do you mean the clocks at idle? Those are 300MHz Core, 625MHz memory and voltage is 0.950V

Dual Monitors need mirror

You can do a lot with DisplayFusion (software) for multi-screen setups I really like it for my dual-screens :)

Graphics Card, AMD 7950 or Nvidia 660Ti?

As far I know from browsing these forums, 1600MHz will be equally good for RAM. You probably wouldn't notice the speed difference anyway with anything faster. 1600 might even be a little cheaper than 2400...

Thank you for the replies, pointing out it's most likely my OC. I'll try out the stock speeds and hope I can go from there :) Eventviewer only shows the unexpected shutdown as error, and network link disconnecting. There's no exclamation marks in device manager, but I'll take a look if I find...

Hello, I'm having problems with my new build randomly freezing up (let's say about once a week). It happens when I'm browsing the internet for example and I want to open the start menu, another program, ... but all it does is change the mouse pointer into that loading circle. I can keep using...
