Yep, the kk266 has problems with the unlocked 1.2 gig tbirds. Mine would not boot at 266 mhz no matter what I tried and the BIOS update did not fix the problem. The board tries to read the initial multiplier and FSB so it tries to boot at 133X12 even with the multiplier set lower in the BIOS...
Just wondering how hard it is on my cards and memory with leaving the VIO on the A7V133 in test mode which is roughly 3.64 V. The board is stable at 152 FSB with this setting, but I can get to 148 with the 3.5 V setting. Do I really need those extra 4 mhz on the FSB, well yes I do :)
Yep, the box said made in China and the PCB said made in Taiwan, but then there is a sticker covering that saying made in China. The capacitors and fan used on the Northbridge are also different.
