Processor AMD vs. Intel

idunno I have always been a P4 guy untill just 2hours ago I picked up an A64 3000 NewCastle. I am really looking foward to installing it. The thing is A Barton 2500 which is what 1.8ghz is competative to a 2.4C. They may have different GHZ ratings but amd runs faster per clock.

Open Benchsetup

I am gonna be doing some modding to thy case this weekend, but I wanna keep my computer up. How would I go about setting up my comp to run in an open bench on my desk? Could I put the mobo on the box with a antistatic tray underneath and just leave the hardrives in the cadge and use the dvd...

when I use nero6, it wants me to put in a CD-RW saying it detects at DVD-R, is there a step somewhere what I put DVD on it?
