JackMDS, as you point out, i dont have the Dual wireless router. So , my two networks dont work at the same time. thank you all for your reply !

Your input is very much appreciated. Thank you for replying. Both, the cable modem and router1(wired Dlink router) have a separate connection to the internet. Its late night here. I will try your solution out and reply tomorrow. Any suggestions are welcome. Cheers!

heat sink problem

i am talking about using the HSF of e8400 on the pentium D 805. btw- tdp of e8400 is 65W and tdp pentium D 805 is 95W.

Configuration for ultra cheap PC

anything below 200$ is good for me. worse to worse, 300$ but not more than that. and i am talking abt a new pc not a a refurbished one.

heat sink problem

i was not clear back there. what i meant was that my core 2 duo is a 45nm processor. while the dual core is obviously now. also, let me point out that the heat sink of the dual core is bigger than the core 2 duo's heat sink. any input is appreciated. thank you.

I see, but even the basic models of these are a little epensive. i already have a gaming pc. i just need a cheap pc that can be used 24/7 without me worrying about it.

heat sink problem

Hi, can i use a core 2 dup fan, heat/sink with my old dual core cpu? i am sure it will fit( but am not 100% positive) but what about the heating? the core 2 duo was designed to operate at lower temps. am not sure it can handle the heat of a dual core(the core2duo is a 45nm processor). thank you.
