i'm driving a bmw 3 series. everything works great in the past 5 years. no major problems. very happy with my purchase. If you think owning a bmw means you can drive it hard....then there is always a cost assocaite with driving hard. If you drive your civic as hard as your bmw... I'm sure...

Oblivion on a 30" LCD at 2560X1600?

I was able to play it with acceptable rate...in the 20fps... But man does the detail jump out. I could just stare at the walls and rocks..... :) weapons have more details than my old 19" LCD. Just want to share my experience. oh its on a apple cinema and 7900 GTX

Does this board support DDR2 800?

I have search the same topic but found nothing, it seems to me this forum is full of AMD chipset members.....most of the time anyway. I have PC6400 DDR2 running on this board and its very stable....altough the memories are running at a lower speed. :( in other words, this board is limited at...

Today is the day I become a man.

Congratz on the upgrade!!!!! feels great to have that power again doesn't it :) I did the same thing but only after 2 years. Here are my specs: Intel D930-with Big Typhoon and AS-5 (i know you all love AMD but I have Intel stocks so no flames please :P plus I got it at $19.12 per share)...

Much appreciate everyone's comments. I have been throne between AMD and Intel but I'm not a heavy gamer. In additional to the bad experience from former AMD chips, I choose to go with intel again....... I know a lot had change since but not being able to use DDR2 chips is another factor. I...

What do you think about this setup?

I thought about the x1900xtx but that thing is loud under full load.... plus at max resolution there is little difference. I choose ddr2 6400 in case I want to use it in 6 months or so for the next processor :) Thanks for the suggestion.
