Got to go to the Discovery park in Union City TN today with my kids :D

So happy that I was able to help with the last mile of getting that admittedly very cool looking experience to happen. Some great photos. I may have to put that place on my “Someday” list. I’m betting that the kiddos got kinda robbed of their summer with all the covid stuff. Mine sure did.

Prescisely - I was happy as a clam even at 2560x1440 (!) in "plain 3d" as far as FPS, then I went "down" to the 23" 120hz 1080p panel, and got the shutter glasses, and FPS somewhat went to hell when I added the Stereo3D. nVidia lists single boards in the 2xx-series as suitable for this...

Which means at the very least picking a new mainboard, since the one I have's heart goes boom (not in a good way) when an x6 is overclocked in it.. AM3+SLi -- pref w/dual gigE nics. Any strong suggestions?

:eek: , indeed. I have a black edition proc with unlocked multis, and a board that is probably liable to litter me with MOSFET Package/heatsink shrapnel if I crank on it much above stock. Kinda defeats the whole black edition thing. If the graph you show is accurrate, that would explain...

I'm using a 1kW PSU for the system, and a stand alone 450W 12V-only (5.25" bay) PSU for each card. IF a third card were in order, I'd probably have plenty of headroom on the 1kW unit?
