i agree.. i have a 6600gt and i want to sli it with a newer 7800.. it sucks that the cores have to be the same.. sounds like a marketing thing from nvidia.. they could have the drivers assign the tasks to the different gpus parallely.

i'm very happy with my mod.. i finally settled on getting a sunon 40x10 maglev fan, which fits right over the installed heatsink..
rpm is now a much quieter 5500 rpm compared to 8800rpm on the OEM POS fan.
Cost me under $15 for the entire setup.. $13 for the fan (including shipping) and...

did you burn the RC2 ISO to a CD and boot from it? I'm guessing the OS already has compatible 64-bit SATA drivers which it should load..

compatibility problems - zero! 32-bit apps run as fast under x64.
