It does not charge c or d, but has adapters to use aa in devices that use c or d ( like a hollow sleeve).
The capacity measurement is pretty useful, as cells can vary.
BTW, my only issue was that the batteries included did not look too good.

I was pleased with this monitor (the 12 ms e-19a), but found the specs confusing. It may be that it is both improved and cheaper (reflecting reduced costs of today). I saw a press release describing the new release with the 12ms, 500:1 contrast and a lower viewing angle.

I got the cas 3 and just noticed that a program called cpu-z identifies it as 2.5-3-3-8. Is there a chance that this stuff is the same inside both packsges? I have no idea how reliable this program is.
