Guess what :) No chat support or email support available for MS accounts. Un-f*****g-believable. Anyway digging through a few support forums on the MS site, I see I am not the only one, there are others too in the last couple of days. Sigh, guess it will only be a month or so before they notice

Thanks, might try that. Now been in contact with MS support and OF COURSE they do not support Microsoft Accounts over the phone. INSANE! All I have been sent is the same stupid password reset links that don't work because the system thinks there is no account under that name.

I can't say enough good things about Synology - their stuff is fanstastic. For your scenario, absolutely look into the DS212J + Wireless dongle. Whilst I agree that wireless sucks for a NAS, at least synology have one you can buy for it if you are determined to go that route. With two disks...

You sure about the battery life thing? I can watch an hour long 1080 MKV and battery goes down by about 5% - 9% You think the GPU sucks less power than the CPU? I would imagine the difference would be fairly minimal compared to the drain from the screen for example. I have watched 9 hours...

where do you get your gaming news?

bluesnews ... really that's it. STILL the best shit filter for gaming news and usually has a couple of interesting general tech or cool stuff items that aren't picked up by my feeds

Mac Pro and video cards...

Honestly just buy a normal version of any graphics card that is a reference design - flash it and then you are golden I did it with a 5870, took about 10 mins to read up which to buy, prepared the files while I waited for delivery, then it took 10 mins from it being out of the package to flash...
