Windows 8 Dev Preview

I decided to give the preview a try on my netbook. I've been tinkering around for the last 30 minutes or so, and I can't seem to get many of the apps to run. I can only access Control Panel, Desktop and Windows Explorer on the new Start screen. I can swipe from the left side of the screen, but...

Looks like I won't be getting SSFIV AE. Edit: they reversed it.

Limiting offline play to only 15 characters is bad enough for me, and I'm certain it's even more frustrating for those who want to give challenge mode a run in times where their internet connection is down if they can't save their progress. Personally, if I can't connect to the net or to GFWL...

Super Street Fighter IV Official Thread

Taunting doesn't happen too much in my experience, and I don't find it as annoying as I used to. I figure, let them taunt while I figure out their game. Endless battles are a great way since you can spectate people or play 'em frequently, and it's pretty satisfying coming back to beat someone...

Sports game let down blues

I didn't mind buying sports games every year so long as I had others to play with. I bought Madden every year from 2002 to 2008, mainly because I had friends and roommates I could play a franchise with or challenge online. That kept the game fun, but over time they find other games, roommates...

NCAA 11 online dynasty interest?

The PS3 version came out today as well. I just got done playing Miami vs. OSU and Oklahoma vs. Texas so I could unlock those uniforms to use when the game is out. I agree with you on both counts. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is familiar to me.

Football (Madden and NCAA): Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Fresno State Bulldogs NBA (2K Series): Los Angeles Lakers Platforms: 360 Interest: Definitely interested in an online league for football, but not so much for basketball unless it's a shortened season. I doubt I'll stick around...
