Banding is confirmed on my 2007 IPS April 2006 m.i. mexico on DVI under WinXP and OSX as well as on VGA.
I see no noticable difference in banding severity on either operating sys OR any interface !
But , the banding on DVI or VGA is minor. Not as bad as some I have seen here.

Just for the record...the Apple panels I reported (2) are older than the 2007 series.
They were purchased in january or feb. Ill try to get manuf. dates. and I am working on those 2007W pics still.
