erratic video speed problems

when i play divx files on my computer, it runs smoothly for several seconds then it speeds up for an instant and keeps on doing that.. so the videospeed is erratic (sound is messed up too).. im not sure what could be the problem i just built this computer.. its a p4 2.4c @ 2.7 (900fsb), geil 512...

Iwill KK266 o/c Help

i think this is the same problem i ran into... why dont you try lowering the multiplier before switching the jumper to 133fsb mode.. cause i think it tries to boot with the multiplier you are currently at times the new fsb which should be 133

Is it necessary to apply a thermal paste?

i think its a must to apply thermal grease but my bro has a 1.4ghz tbird with no thermal grease that he doesnt overclock and he says it runs at 40c idle and 48c load... but still.. kind of scary not to use thermal grease after watching the cpu frying video at tomshardware edit: my bro just...

this is my roomates board we got the iwill kk266-r, 1.4tbird, sk-6 + 40cfm ys-tech fan in hopes of hitting 1.6ghz+ the thing is.. when i tried to up the fsb, its max was at 132.. i was like wtf? and the multiplier max was at 12.5 my other friend got a iwill kk266plus and he got the same stuff...

epox 8k7a + enermax psu = bad?

i read a post saying that it was a bad combo cause of the 5v thing? is it true? cause im helping my roomates build comps and one of them bought the fs710 case and that comes with a 330 watt enermax psu. he also got the epox 8k7a+ thanx!

is the Antec pp303x 300W ps good enough for a tbird 1.33 that im going to overclock?

hmmm, i want it kind of the the quiet side, but i can tolerate noise would a taisol cgk760 with a 30cfm delta do a good job? and how loud is 40deciples? what can i compare it to? thanx!! edit: doh.. i read somewhere that it has a high pitch tone, doh... how about if i dont overclock with the...
