    Audio popping (Youtube, mostly) since Mavericks update

    It was pretty drastic after the Mavericks upgrade. I haven't noticed it while using iTunes or VLC - mainly those above things. Recently was the one time I've heard it while a system notification sound came on though I don't use them often.

    Hi there, I have a late 2011 Macbook Air, that was working fine and dandy until the Mavericks upgrade. Now, occasionally when I play Youtube videos or sometimes when Spotify is running, the audio pops and crackles. In fact, I just heard it with some system audio, so not sure what's causing...

    Gave a quick go at overclocking and the system quickly didn't tolerate anything, and just started shutting down after being in Windows at most settings for very long. After using a temp program, I can see why! I know I'm using the stock cooler, but WTF, my core temps range from 83-90 at IDLE...

    Actually, the Nook's 3G service is free through AT&T - with the caveat you can't use it to browse, only Wifi. Which sucks, but at least you aren't paying any extra.
