Well my Neo4-F bit the dust over the weekend, only 8 months in. It started up & lost all CMOS settings. Multiple CMOS resets and changing the battery both didn't help, CMOS would never save settings again. It would still boot XP and was just a little shakey on default settings for 2 days...

Too much Thermal Grease???

Not to threadjack, but is it actually harmful to not clean and reapply thermal compound when you remove/reapply the heatsink? (in terms of CPU life/longevity). I switched mobo's early on and kept the same stock AMD thermal pad on the CPU. I know it's recommended to reapply, but I didn't have...

4x512 = DDR333 only?

I'll second that, 150 divider on the 1.6 bios is very stable, CPU-Z now correctly states my RAM speed whereas it showed simply blank on the 1.3 bios. I only infrequently crash playing CS:S, but only on very hot evenings. I may actually back down from 2.7ghz as my DVI LCD caps me at 60hz/60FPS...

FPS difference on LCD with 12ms vs 8ms

This is incorrect. Your FPS is insignificant beyond your refresh rate, or 60hz with DVI (75hz with analog, but I'm not sure on that one).

Cobalt, what do you have the 2 settings beneath the 1T/2T option in the BIOS set at? ("Read Preamble Value" and "Async Latency Value"). I'd prefer to leave these on auto and let my RAM's SPD value decide, but if I want to force 1T the Neo4 doesn't leave an auto selection for those 2 settings...
