The tubing split is what i suggested before, you can actually buy it split and in various sizes, pictures shown in the link of my signature, it does make it tidy and help with air flow, you can then get colored cable ties to match

2.8 prescott running very hot in dell 400sc

Have you looked into the thermaltake Silent Cat fans, the 9cm one (which also fits 8cm heatsinks) pumps 52CFM but is only 21dBA, which i think is very efficient...

If you dont want to hide them at the back this is another way, get some Corrugated split sleeve tubing from an automotive shop, they use this also in car sterio installations and pipe the PSU cables, you can get it to match in with your main board pending on what color cable ties you use...

Aftermarket HSF and Retail CPU Warranty

Normaly, as soon as you replace the stock standard cooling .. you can kiss your warranty good bye, even more so and this is interesting, the heatsinks and cpus (in retail box sets) have matching numbers to eachother, even if you send back (god forbid) a dead cpu and a stock standard heatsink...

LOl i don't know, i never asked... he said it was a small one so i presume only a few people, but i know hes got seti loaded on some of the work servers and client computers he does business networking (for a job) and some clients have some dual Xeon servers that run at night that would crunch...

Yip after the 16th try to change email address (which btw wasn't on the banned list) it stuck, i think they bought out the heavy duty super glue and stuck the bugga in place!! (pity i didn't think of the glue trick earlier!!) so at least i get notified of forum posts and such now.... All is well...

Ahhh well it seems to have kept my email address now, just checked on profile, so maybe the 16th try was the lucky one aye? .... i would have prefered a lower number really..... or maybe the moderator got some super glue and glued the new mail address in place... why didnt i think of that...

Well it was certainly none of those, it is from a New Zeland based ISP @orcon.net.nz so it doesn't match any of the banned ones :( and if it was a banned one then it shouldnt have changed my password, i did message the moderator who also said if it was banned it wouldnt have changed password, so...
